Shabbat Sunday

We’re excited to invite you to a special Sunday Service, November 24th, as we dive deeper into the beauty and significance of Shabbat! The word “Shabbat” or “Sabbath” means to “cease, stop, or rest.” It’s a gift from the Lord—a special 24-hour period set aside for us to rest, enjoy family, connect with friends, share a meal, hang out and bless one another. When we embrace this time of rest, God releases His tangible favor over us. Truly, it is “the blessing that blesses.”

This time together is more than just learning; it’s about experiencing Shabbat as a family of God. We’ll be given the opportunity to care for each other, reach each other’s hearts, build each other up, and most importantly, speak blessings over our children—the next generation.

We encourage you to please bring your own lunch, and if you’re able, consider bringing a little extra to share with someone who may be visiting MVCC for the first time. This simple act of generosity can go a long way in helping others feel at home.

We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and reflection as Thanksgiving approaches. Let’s come together, rest, and prepare our hearts to receive and extend God’s blessings.
