‘Ohana Groups
Let’s do life together
What is an Ohana Group?
An 'Ohana Group is a small family community of 3-20 people that regularly meet in various places throughout the area. Each ‘Ohana Group has a specific focus and time commitment.
All Groups incorporate family time connection, prayer, worship/praise, equipping, developing/practice, and outreach. We desire for everyone who attends MVCC to participate in an ‘Ohana Group each session (Spring, Summer, and Fall) as we think it’s the best place to meet people, make connections, and grow spiritually.
There are three different types of groups to pick from at MVCC:
Connect Groups - Perfect for those who want to connect with God and his people but are in a season that cannot commit to consistent schedule. These groups are available throughout the year to join in at any time.
Community Groups - Designed for those desiring to grow alongside others more consistently to learn and practice a specified area or skill.
Growth Groups - For those able to commit to a season (9-12 months) of accelerated spiritual growth with the end hope of multiplying into new Growth Groups. There are five focus areas: Bible Reading, H.E.A.R. Journal, Scripture Memory, Accountability and Prayer. This group is limited to 5-6 members.
