Qualities of the Worship Team Music Department

Here at Mountain View we have certain requirements you must meet to be part of the Music Department.

·      Spiritual

·      Musically Gifted

·      Character

·      Committed

·      Healing Hearts

 You must have all five qualities and be willing to work in these areas for improvement if/when needed.

They are SPIRITUAL - they must know and study the word, spend time in prayer, and be able to minister others.

They are MUSICALLY GIFTED - They must know their gift and be able to play or sing without the necessity of being taught. (There’s a difference between knowing how to play/sing and how to lead worship).

They have CHARACTER. - they must be able to come under authority and push up. They must be mature when dealing with technical matters with a teachable heart and attitude.

They are COMMITTED - they must be able to attend to weekly meetings, practices, special gatherings and Sunday Services.

They have completed HEALING HEARTS – they must have taken or are willing to take Healing Hearts Class.
